Overview

Beautiful Medellín has long been Colombia's most popular remote working hotspot and, with its nickname of "the city of eternal spring" it's one of our favorite places to call home for a while. This picturesque cultural hub is home to international restaurants, upscale bars, historical architecture, and endless green spaces with a backdrop of mountains and street art in every direction. Wander down palm-tree-lined streets to discover its thriving cafe culture (with plenty of traditional Colombian coffee) or spend your free time soaking up the sunshine in one of the multiple parks. When you need a break from the center, hop on a cable car to explore the city’s hillside villages or jump on a bus to check out the vibrant surrounding areas like Guatapé or Cocorna. Also this month you'll have a chance to experience Medellin's Christmas season, from late November to early January, the festive spirit is infectious, and the city's streets come alive with colorful lights, decorations, and cultural events. There are numerous opportunities to experience Colombian traditions, including food, music, and dance. Downtime in Poblado offers plenty of variety. You’re never too far from socializing while staying here, whether that looks like a buzzing night out exploring Medellín’s finest clubs, a paragliding trip to see the city from above, or a caffeine-fuelled coffee tour. Once you’ve started remote working from Medellín, there’s a high chance you’ll never want to leave.
