Hi! I’m Jeong, your Community Manager here in Seoul.
Born and raised here, I’ve spent most of my life in this city. I’ve also lived and studied in the US, UK, Germany, and Singapore, and traveled to more than 30 countries. For me, the best way to travel has always been by making friends with locals — and just as much as I enjoyed that during my own travels, I became to enjoy meeting travelers in my city and showing them around.
This passion eventually led me to start a digital nomad community, Digital Nomads Korea, as well as a coliving space, Hoppin House, here in Seoul, creating spaces where people can connect, live, and experience Korea together. I’m excited for us to explore Seoul together and discover the small moments that make this city special.

You can experience the magical cherry blossom season all across Seoul but some of the best spots include Yeouido Park, Namsan Park and Seokchon Lake. Be aware that this season can be extremely busy so have a few spots in mind so you can plan ahead.

Seoul is known for its delicious street food markets that serve up tasty and affordable eats . Make sure you try delicacies like tteokbokki, kimbap and the fresh dumplings and hotteok at Namdaemun Market are a must.
